Beautiful Set of 4 Rosewood & Inlaid Chairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb quality set of 4 late 19th C. Rosewood and inlaid chairs. The shaped and carved crest above an urn inlaid panel flanked by carved scrolls and joined to the further inlaid supports. The centre splat decorated with carved roses, graduated harebells and further scrolls all in rosewood, satinwood and white celluloid. The stuff over seats upholstered in gold Drayton with gimped edging and although not new the fabric is in excellent useable condition. The rails and legs have further inlay and stringing with tapering front legs and spade feet. Condition- Very good, cleaned and waxed in our own workshops. Dimensions:- Height…34.25’’/ 87cm. Width…16.25’’/ 41cm. Depth…18’’/ 46cm. Seat Height…18’’/ 46cm. Delivery by furniture carrier £60.
