A beautiful vintage "toi et moi" ring set with a pair of incredibly sparkly white paste diamonds, made by the well regarded jeweller Ciro, founded 1917 in Bond Street, London.

“Toi et moi” (French for “you and me”) is a romantic style of bypass ring with two round gems commonly found in engagement rings from the early 20th century, symbolising two intertwined souls.

SIZE: J and a half (UK), 5 (US). The fiery pastes are each around 7mm diameter (equivalent to around 2.5 carats if they were diamonds).

WEIGHT: 2.0g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, silver, paste gemstones. The pastes are set into silver, as was traditional with antique diamond rings of this style.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 9CT CIRO.

CONDITION: The ring is in excellent antique condition.

ERA: Estimated c.1940s.
