Pareglio & Ayres Antiques Interiors has dated these Antique Landscape Oil Paintings to the 1920s.

The artist relies on a highly pleasing, muted palette of soft ochres, earth tones, and slate greys, utilizing classic stippling and blending techniques typical of the regional academic traditions of the era.

The artworks are executed in oil or heavy opaque gouache on thick, genuine antique yellowish millboard.
Housed behind glass in their original fine gilt frames, the frames exhibit a wonderful, gentle age-matured patina although with losses to the gilding in places. One of the painting has lost its original wooden back board.

This is a highly desirable decorative grouping. While individual period landscapes are common, finding an unbroken, cohesive set of four in matching frames of the same period is exceptionally rare.
They are of ideal "cabinet" proportions, perfect for creating an elegant gallery wall arrangement or a linear hallway feature.
