A 19th Century Pottery, Painted and Glazed, Pug Dog.

The pug is lying, with front paws extended, and rear legs gathered beside the hind quarters, with the tail upward curled. The pug, head up, with ears slightly raised, looking forward, with glass eyes and red leather and chain collar.

Date circa 1880.

Height 6 3/4 inches, 17cm.

Width 12 1/2 inches, 32cm.

Depth 7 inches, 18cm.
