Shackladys Antiques has dated this Inlaid Mahogany Occasional Chair to the 1910s.

The pierced splat back is flanked by slender vertical splats, giving the chair a light and refined appearance, whilst the tapered front legs and gently outswept rear legs further enhance its graceful form. The mahogany has acquired a rich warm colour and attractive patina over the years.

The seat is upholstered in a decorative floral needlework panel with braided edging, complementing the refined Edwardian character of the piece.
