Description

An exquisite Italian silver and enamel compact. This superb example is of circular form with gorgeosufoliar and floral engraved detailing to the base and the sides. The lid is hinged and decorated with a gorgeous enamel scene, depicting a romantic couple in a woodland setting. The border has an undulating enamel pattern in pale sky blue.

The hinged lid opens via a thumb grip, to reveal a bevelled mirror and gilded interior. Italian in origin, this is a wonderful collector's piece and a great gift idea. Dimensions below.
