Description

A fine Dr Wall period sugar bowl & cover with moulded flower bud knop and leaf terminals. Printed with the ever popular, oriental inspired "Fence" patter, c.1770. Hatched crescent mark to the base.

It measures 11.5cm (4 1/2") high and 10.5cm (4 1/8") wide. The bowl is 7cm (2 3/4") high and 9cm (3 1/2") wide.

In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration. Only the very slightest fritting to the petal edges and minimal handling wear. The printing is also lovely and crisp with no running.
