We are delighted to offer this magnificent antique French 18ct gold diamond navette ring made c.1890.

Striking, rich and enchanting, this navette ring presents an unapologetic antique allure with highly desirable traits. In the centre lies a wonderful natural unheated ruby, and surrounding it, 22 old rose-cut diamonds have been intricately set in fine claws.

The top navette section is set in a way that each diamond is in a slightly different angle and has a gentle curvature. This design maximises the dazzling reflection which can truly be appreciated in person under natural sunlight. The ruby's rich red hue and the fire in diamonds come to life upon a sunbeam with a delightful glow and sparkle.

Such a combination of fine goldsmithing and dazzling diamonds makes for an excellent and versatile choice, whether it be for wearing as a contrasting piece of jewellery among other pieces or as an eye-catching single ring. This ring presents a wonderful way to express your passion for antiques, classical style and history, bound to be a conversation starter and a discerning choice for the distinguished individual.
