Brief Description:

This is a large, magnificent original Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting depicting an affluent society lady arranging flowers with her personal assistant page boy beside her.

The outstanding piece was commissioned by/owned by the historic Hassop Hall, Derbyshire.

Note: This is one of a matching pair of portrait paintings that we are selling individually - please see our other listings and/or the final image in this listing.

The beautiful image portrays the seated lady in a 3/4 portrait pose, with one arm outstretched with a single flower in her hand.

She sits upon a stool on a large country house balcony, with her young servant page boy offering his help.

Painted during the mid-20th-century in the manner and style of the 18th-century old master British artists.

The impressive piece is mounted within a good-quality (later) gilt moulded frame.

Circa 4 1/2 feet tall!
