Description

A bright, fiery old mine cut diamond from the early part of the last century set in a contemporary platinum mount. The diamond is secured in a six claw collet with a scrolling gallery, and is framed by six (three each side) step-cut natural sapphires to a slim D-shaped shank. A stunning design, beautifully executed.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Old European cut diamond with step-cut sapphires.

Colour:  The diamond is H.

Clarity:  The diamond is SI2 (eye-clean). The sapphires are loupe-clean.

Carat:  The diamond is 0.96 carat. The total approximate sapphire weight is 0.20 carat.

Size:  K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The diamond is approximately 6.3mm in diameter, and sits 5.3mm from the finger.

Weight:  3.43 grams.

Metal:  Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
