Description

A 19th century mahogany occasional table of elegant proportions, raised on a turned pedestal support terminating in a well-shaped tripod base with carved paw feet.

The circular solid mahogany top displays attractive figuring and is finished with a crisply carved gadrooned edge, adding decorative interest and a touch of classical refinement. The turned central column is well balanced by the sturdy tripod base, giving the piece both stability and pleasing proportion.

A versatile table ideal as a lamp table, wine table or occasional side table, working equally well in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Presented in good antique condition with age-related surface wear consistent with use and period.
