Kingsdown Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
One insert is a small cut glass cream jug with a shaped pouring lip and a solid applied handle.

The second insert is a low cut glass bowl, well suited to sugar, sweets, or small condiments. Both glass pieces show crisp geometric cutting, with panels of crosshatch and star motifs that catch the light attractively – circa 1905.

A classic cream-and-sugar pairing that looks equally at home in a period dining room or a modern kitchen. Perfect for British Strawberries in summer!
