Description

A James Macintyre Florian Ware Vase in the “Poppy” pattern by William Moorcroft, circa 1904-1913.

A beautiful vase with tube lined poppies against a pale blue background.

Height: 16 cm

Diameter (at base): 5cm

In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some very fine typical age related crazing which does not detract.

The base contains the early James Macintyre Florian Ware mark in brown with hand-painted William Moorcroft initial signature in green with 'des' below and registered design number 326471.

Declaration

William Rand Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
