A Superior Art Deco Glazed Cabinet C1930

We have a highly attractive English Art Deco 3 door glazed cabinet of first class quality in a lovely, ready to enjoy condition.

This one exudes style and quality with its step top, 2 attractively glazed doors and central cupboard door of figured walnut, well shaped bottom plinth and that rarely seen birch lined interior to the 2 outer glazed sections. Also loving the square chrome keys. All in all a very classy piece of Art Deco.

Condition is very good with three working locks and 2 keys for the doors, thick glass shelves and 3 fixed solid mahogany shelves in the middle section. The piece has been carefully re-polished in our workshop so expect fresh tones to the walnut and mahogany, all doors closing as they should and the odd mark or two, no repairs, reassuringly weighty and ready for placing.

Billy Hunt and Co is located on a large Victorian farm just a short country drive from the Rangemore village, a designated conservation area, which was built by Michael Thomas Bass in the 1850s to house the Bass Rangemore Estate workers consisting mainly of Victorian redbrick cottages and the occasional barn.

Our home is a classic Victorian designed and well equipped late 19th century 2 story red brick built barn of some 4000 sq feet nestled in classic English countryside, which enjoyed a careful full renovation in 2000. The estate still benefits being managed in the traditional manner with an Estate Manger, estate carpenter, gardeners etc. A rather delightful place to have as our work space.

Martina, there is no Billy at Billy hunt, has led the team since 2103 and is an interior designer qualified from The Inchbald School of Design London whose previous working life included such clients as Vertu, Aston Martin and Johnnie Walker to name a few.
