Neat Antique Inlaid Mahogany Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a smart solid mahogany bookcase in lovely clean condition dating from the late Victorian era circa 1900.

The bookcase has very neat proportions that are hard to come by in a piece of furniture from this time.

This has slender out curving legs to the base and five useful shelves with line inlaid satinwood banding to the upper tier.

The bookcase measures 123 cms high by 58 cms wide by 24 deep.

Bottom shelf is 23 cms high by 17 deep

Above is 21 cms high

Next above is 21 high

Top compartment measures 22 cms high by 17 deep.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
