Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The arms curving outward and downward to vase shaped uprights, before the bergère seat, with a swab cushion. The legs ring turned and tapering to shaped toes. The whole with the original gilt floral and foliate decoration.
Date circa 1820.
