The hinged lid is in full working order and once opened reveals the full English hallmark for Birmingham 1899, making this a true Victorian example. The makers initials are also present, MJJ, for the silversmith, Matthew John Jessop. Excellent antique condition measuring 4" x 2 3/4" x 1/4" and weighing 62.9 Grams / 2.02 Troy Ounces.
