Large Victorian Gilt Framed Berlin Woolwork Picture of Pharaoh's Dream

Description

A truly wonderful looking Victorian Berlin woolwork picture, worked in coloured threads with Joseph Interpreting Pharaoh's Dream, dating to c.1850. It is of great size and scale making it a real statement piece in any room once hung. There are signs of age, restoration works to the frame and various small knocks and marks as can be expected for its age, but nothing detrimental. The back has been recently relined and it has been lightly cleaned and is ready to use.
