A gorgeous and beautifully distinctive Art Deco necklace, dating to circa 1920 and handcrafted in 9ct gold with the elegant geometric styling so characteristic of the period.
This refined necklace is centred by a polished circular carnelian ring, from which a richly coloured tapered carnelian drop is suspended. The drop is beautifully accented with faceted rock crystal discs, creating a subtle sparkle against the warm burnt-orange tones of the carnelian. Slender gold bar links and polished gold bead details add balance and sophistication, while the integral trace link chain completes the design with graceful simplicity.
Beautifully proportioned and exceptionally wearable, this necklace sits elegantly at the neckline and offers all the charm, glamour and clean lines that define the finest Art Deco jewellery. A rare and striking period piece.
