A fascinating and highly collectible antique gentleman’s vest pocket necessaire travel set, beautifully crafted with a silver-mounted outer case and contrasting leather-covered wooden body, designed to house an impressive array of compact travelling implements, elevn currently present.
These ingenious miniature travel companions are increasingly difficult to find, particularly in such a largely, almost, complete condition. The fitted interior contains an exceptional selection of original tools and accessories, including scissors, spoon and fork implements, a hinged draftsman’s ruler, toothpick with ear spoon terminal, and other useful travelling accessories, some may have been added ovcer the years — remarkable examples of 19th-century ingenuity and craftsmanship.
The set remains complete aside from the main extension handle for the interchangeable implements. The termin
...al end piece for the handle is still present in its designated position, though the screw-mount extension itself is absent.
The silver and leather exterior remains beautifully preserved, and the case displays wonderfully with excellent antique character throughout.

Condition:
Presented in very good to excellent antique condition for age and type. The majority of original implements remain intact and well preserved. The only notable omission is the extension handle for the interchangeable tools, although the terminal fitting remains present. Overall, an exceptionally attractive and scarce example.
