Description

A French brass cased striking & repeating carriage clock. Lovely gilding to the case. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. The original travelling box. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong by Richard & Co, Paris. An escapement visible through the oval top glass. A repeater button to the top. Circa 1920.
