A fine antique French carved giltwood fire screen, beautifully crafted with elegant Rococo influence and decorative detailing throughout.

The shaped giltwood frame is richly carved with scrolling acanthus decoration and raised on ornate scrolling feet, retaining an attractive aged gilt finish and excellent patina. The central upholstered panel is finished in an elegant gold patterned fabric, making this piece both functional and highly decorative.

Ideal for use beside a fireplace, as a decorative fireside accessory, or as an accent piece within a traditional or luxury interior. The graceful proportions and warm gilt finish allow it to work beautifully in both classic and contemporary settings.
