Rawlings Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The wardrobe is fitted with two full-length mirrored doors to either side, with a central section featuring decorative carved panels and fabric-lined doors above a bank of drawers. The lower section offers generous storage with two smaller drawers over three long graduated drawers, all retaining attractive period-style handles and beautifully figured walnut veneers.
The top is finished with an ornate moulded cornice and carved detailing, while the whole piece stands on a substantial plinth base.
