This is a beautiful, original 19th-century Landscape Oil on Canvas Painting depicting a small village near Bosbury, Herefordshire.

Note: This is one of three matching Oil Paintings that we are selling individually - please see our other listings.

The above work dates to the mid-19th century, and it is attributed to the listed British artist W. B. Henley (fl. 1854-1856).

It is a wonderful image that portrays a lone figure standing beside a quaint thatched cottage, which is surrounded by ancient woodlands.

Mounted within a good quality, later, green and gilt moulded frame.

Attached verso is a label inscribed: ''Nr Bosbury, Hereford - W B Henley''.
