Gorgeously Shaped Victorian All Iron Double No End Bed

An incredibly attractive all iron bed with gorgeous shaping. The head end has a gently curved shape with the panel featuring a unique interlocking circle design all connected by nicely shaped castings with a calligraphy style swirls and scrolls. All in good detail.

Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in a Little Invisible Green, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit.

Victorian iron bed frames are constructed using tubular or solid iron rails joined with hand-poured cast iron corner fixtures. They typically feature tubular arches, vertical spindles, or ornate scrollwork detailing on the headboard and footboard.
