Description

This handsome and stylish gentleman's plush top hat which is manufactured by top hat maker Tress & Co is marked with their details to the inside and dates from the early 1900's.

This fine quality hat which is in fabulous condition is a large size at UK 7 (US 7 1/8), looks as though it has only been worn a few times and comes in it's Tress & Co cardboard box to protect it.

Would make a wonderful topper for a wedding, day at the races, special event, costume or prop.

Date: Early 20th century.

Makers details as shown inside hat: Prize medals awarded to Tress & Co London.

Size: UK 7. (US 7 1/8).

Approx Dimensions of hat:

Inside front to back: 20 cm.

Inside side to side: 16 cm.

Inside circumference: 57 cm.

Height: 15 cm.

Total weight in box: 526 g.

Condition: In excellent condition with only very light signs of use in keeping with age. Looks like it has only been worn a couple of times. Plush is in excellent condition with no wear or damage. Box has wear, tears and staining. Please see pictures.
