FAQs

Imari porcelain refers to Japanese export wares made in the Arita area of Hizen province and shipped from the port of Imari. Historically produced from the 17th century onwards, these chargers feature intricate underglaze cobalt blue designs or polychrome enamel palettes displaying floral and botanical motifs.
