George III Mahogany Library Table

18th century
Description

Handsome George III mahogany library table. The moulded top with gilt tooled leather surface over two ebony strung drawers fitted with brass swan neck handles. With good quality oak drawer linings. The rear with two dummy drawers. Raised on square tapered legs capped with brass castors.

Circa. 1800

Stamped with the makers name 'W Williamson & Sons Guildford'. Recorded as working in Guildford, Surrey, 1790–1840.
