Octagonal Bijouterie Circa 1880

Description

A superb walnut and marquetry bijouterie circa 1880. The octagonal, hinged and glazed top is adorned with marquetry decoration as does the frieze. The slender, tapering legs are also inlaid and have brass capitols at the top. The legs are joined by a nicely shaped, inlaid x-stretcher.

A spectacular, good quality bijouterie the likes of which you would be hard pushed to find.

Height - 79cm / 31"

Top - 44cm x 44cm / 17.25" x 17.25"
