Description

This is a beautiful example of a ladies diamond cocktail watch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Omega.

It has a solid 18ct white gold case with diamonds to the shoulders, the perfect cocktail watch.

It has the highly reliable calibre 580 movement that has just been serviced, its running to original Omega specification.

It has a new black Lizard grain strap with the original solid white gold Omega buckle. If you would prefer a different strap please let us know.

It also comes with its original 1960s Omega strap but its become very fragile with time and is unwearable.

The only work we have carried out is to ultrasonically clean the case and service the movement.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A cocktail watch is a decorative womens wristwatch designed primarily for formal or evening occasions, often featuring precious metals and embedded gemstones.

During this era, premium watches were typically crafted using solid 18ct or 9ct gold, platinum, brilliant-cut diamonds, and high-grade mechanical Swiss movements paired with fine leather straps.

Authentic examples feature correct movement serial numbers, hallmark stamps indicating metal purity on the inside of the case back, and brand markings on the dial and crown.

A mid-century cocktail watch can be worn as a subtle statement piece alongside contemporary monochrome eveningwear or tailored formal outfits.

To maintain functionality and appearance, store the timepiece in a dry, padded box, avoid exposure to water or magnetic fields, and have the mechanical movement serviced by a specialist every three to five years.
