Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Double Phoenix Dish, Tongzhi Period Bowl Plate
Brief Description:
This is a truly exquisite and original 19th-century Chinese Blue & White Porcelain double phoenix Dish.
Dating from the period of the Tongzhi Emperor (1862-1874), and signed to the base with the Tongzhi six-character mark.
The centre of the dish is decorated with two long-tailed phoenix birds set amidst clouds, and encircled by a double-lined border.
The exterior walls are decorated with conforming birds and clouds.
It is a wonderful original piece that is free from any previous repairs or restoration.
