Jeff Sims Antiques has dated this Edwardian Silver Thimble Case to the Edwardian era.
There is the original silk lined interior and the door features the collectible Reynolds Angels motif. Inside is a Chester silver thimble by the great Charles Horner and dating from the same period. A lovely and unusual collector's piece, still usable today. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no major dents, holes or splits. There is a small ripple to the side and a couple of indentations to the underside, all commensurate with age and use.
