Description

A marquetry inlaid mirror back wall clock. The original carved pediment, turned side columns and finials to the scrolled base. Marquetry inlays to the pediment and choice burr walnut veneers to the case. A painted dial signed 'J Hastings, Hay''. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell. Circa 1885.
