Baggott & Co. has dated this Antique Silver Marrow Scoop to the 19th Century.
Two different size spoons to each end, designed for removing the marrow from within the roasted bones, a delicacy revered in Georgian times so much so that they designed special spoons or scoops with which to eat it. With a plain shank, engraved to the underside with a crest of a standing horned goat.
