A Lovely Painted Mid Grey Original Hungarian 4 Drawer Victorian Chest of Drawers

This chest of drawers is in good condition. We have professionally restored it and then painted it mid grey. We then rubbed over the edges and waxed it giving it a stunning appearance.

The chest of drawers would look well in an old or modern property in a large bedroom.

Please be aware this is in one piece and I will require a hand off the van with it into your hallway. If it is to go up stairs your staircase needs to be straight with no turns.

The chest stands on square back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are four large drawers. These drawers have round turned wooden knobs that have been waxed and contrast beautifully with the paintwork. The drawers have dovetail joints and are pine lined. The top is in good condition with a bull nosed edge and beading section beneath. There are turned columns to the sides.

The height is 118cm, the width is 128cm and the depth is 57cm.

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
