Description

A Pair of Very Large Glass Goblets.

Each with a rounded rim, engraved with decoration of flowing vine leaves and grapes. The rims sweeping into reed edge panels, tapering inward and downward to meet a ring socle and stem. The glasses resting on a slightly domed circular foot. The undersides with pontil bases.

The capacity of each glass almost 1 1/2 pints.

Date circa 1850.

Height 7 1/4 inches, 18.5cm.
