Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Originally candlesticks with the wonderful balaster design, they have now been converted into a table lamps by a fully qualified electrician and are ready for immediate use.
They are in excellent condition with the brightness of the solid brass yet retaining the patina which you would expect of genuine Georgian pieces, they are also very heavy.
This is a beautiful genuine pair of lamps and not to be confused with reproductions.
