Solid Silver Playing Card Case, Caddy 1905

Description

A Silver Playing Card Case or Tea Caddy.

With a domed top, centred by an oval fan motif, against a chased background. The hinged top opening over the stepped rim of the rectangular body. The sides mounted with a pair of hinged axe head handles. The whole raised up on ball feet.

Hallmarked for Thomas Bradbury, Sheffield 1905.

Height 3 1/2 inches, 9cm.

Width 3 1/2 inches, 9cm.
