A beautifully made fruitwood snuff box in the form of a ''wool weaver''s'' shuttle, inlaid with horn and with a horn escutcheon and working latch... there is a little loss to one small part of a hinge, which doesn''t detract or affect the opening of the lid, as most of the hinge is still intact and working (see picture 5)....it has a very good colour, that you would expect from fruitwood and is in nice original condition.
