Edwardian Art Nouveau Inlaid Mahogany Settee

An elegant Edwardian mahogany settee in the art nouveau style, with satinwood line inlay throughout and mother of pearl inlay to the oval design details on the backrest. The seat has been newly recovered in William Morris ‘Willow Bough’ fabric with complimentary trim.

Condition: As is often the case with these delicately made seats, there is a small amount of movement in the wooden frame but it is fully useable. There is a split to the left hand arm rest which isn’t causing any issue other than that there is a little play in the armrest. The seat has been newly upholstered with the webbing renewed. There are a couple of small pieces on inlay and veneer missing - please see the photos. General minor surface wear in accordance with age.
