A wonderful sewing spool box, the like I haven't had in the past; originating in the Scottish town of Mauchline during the Victorian era.

The box is in the form of a train car labelled " Pullman Parlor Car ". The top has a charming floral panel.

The interior of the lid retains the original Clark & Co. paper Cottons label.

The train car stands on four wheels which do turn around. A real must for the Mauchline enthusiast or sewing devotee.

The lid measures 8 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 3 1/2" tall.
