A charming antique early 20th century Jacobean style oak sideboard, very well made and of the finest quality throughout.
This impressive piece features two cupboard doors, one on either side, each with a single internal shelf, along with two central drawers providing useful additional storage. All drawers and doors retain their original brass handles and fittings, adding authenticity and period character.
The sideboard is richly detailed with beautifully executed carvings throughout, showcasing excellent craftsmanship and a strong Jacobean influence.
It stands on elegant barley twist legs, supported by a cross stretcher for added strength and stability, while a raised gallery to the top enhances its decorative presence.
The oak displays a gorgeous grain and warm rich colour throughout, giving the piece real depth and character. Presented in good condition, this is a very desirable and highly decorative example that would make a perfect addition to any home.
