All of the drawers run smoothly with solid oak original linings with very finely cut dovetails.

Of a practical and usable size, not too tall so that the top drawers are easy to reach and use.
The chest sits level and firm on its original tall and shapely bracket feet. Original backboards also.

There is an old key that works all of the locks other than two.
In very good original and entirely usable condition with a few small dings and marks and old restorations.
From a large London property, a really heavy and well made Georgian chest on chest dating from c. 1800, offered here at a very low price, this is highly recommended and a genuine bargain.

Dimensions are:
Maximum dimensions are: 72 inches tall, 44 inches wide and 22 inches deep.
Lower case is 37 inches tall from floor.
Drawer heights from top down are: top two short drawers 5.5 inches, second drawer 6.5 inches, third 7 inches and fourth drawer 8 inches. Fifth is 6.75 inches, sixth is 7.75 inches and bottom drawer in 8.75 inches.
The chest separates into two sections for transport.
