This is an exceptional example of a German Laco-Sport.
The watch case is of soft iron which means this watch was used primarily when working around delicate navigation instruments and possibly issued to the Luftwaffe during the Second World War, it has luminous hands on a black dial which was standard during the war.
The 17 jewel movement is an absolute gem.
The dial which has the second sub dial is completely original as you can see.
This is a rare and desireable watch which is very sought after by collectors.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
We only use natural daylight when taking photographs, we never digitally alter images or use artificial lighting to enhance our pictures so you can be assured the watch you see here is what you will receive and therefore you will not be disappointed.
