A Bottle and Carrier.
The 19th century cylindrical 1 pint bottle, with slightly sloped shoulders, and a spreading neck, meeting an outward swept rim, into which fits the glass stopper. The body with a recessed octagonal panel, with a gilt, red and black lined contents title ''LIQUID PL DIACET''. The bottle fitting within the original sycamore case, carrier, the cylindrical body, with a thread top, onto which screws the conforming domed cover. The whole with and attractive colour and patination.
Date circa 1850.
Height 8 3/4 inches, 17 cm.
Diameter 3 3/4 inches, 9.5cm.
