Late Victorian Pine Dresser Base with Pot Shelf Circa 1860

Description

Good size dresser base with a lovely warm patina that’s been cleaned and waxed. The top made from two decent width Pine boards shows plenty of signs of use and marks, commensurate with its age, which have been left in – the surface is worn smooth and very tactile.

There are three good-size drawers in the top section, with pine linings, all have been cleaned and waxed, ready for use. The runners show signs of wear but they work smoothly and well so there’s plenty of life left. It’s original turned handles have all been left in place.

The lower pot shelf is a decent height, again, showing signs of age and use. A beautiful warm golden colour with that classic homely farm kitchen look.
