18th Century Dutch Marquetry Silver-Top Table Flowers & Birds Rococo Queen Anne

Brief Description:

This is an exceptional example of an 18th-century Dutch Rococo-period free-standing marquetry silver-top table.

Circa 1750-1760, and of a truly fabulous patina.

The piece has a raised and scrolled tap-top border that runs around the beautiful marquetry-inlaid tabletop, which depicts tulips, a central urn with figureheads, and nine elegant birds.

With one long drawer, retaining the original lock, the original gilt brass handles and the original lock escutcheon.

It is a freestanding piece, so it can be used as a centre table, hall table or a side table.

A strong and sturdy piece that comes with a working key and a custom-made protective table top glass panel.
