This superb quality solid silver bombe-shaped tea caddy has a very elegant and unusual design. Of tapering rectangular form, the sides applied with fretwork decorations. The elegant concave hinged cover with leaf-capped flame finial opening to reveal the original gilt interior. The rectangular base raised on four scroll pad feet. It has an excellent silver gauge and feels satisfyingly heavy.
