A superb antique 18th century Georgian mahogany chest of drawers, very well made and of the finest quality, displaying excellent craftsmanship throughout.
The chest is arranged with six drawers in total, configured as three small over three large, all retaining their original brass handles.
The piece is beautifully inlaid with satinwood stringing, adding subtle elegance and refinement to the rich mahogany. It stands on splay feet, giving it a balanced and classic Georgian form, while the overall construction reflects its high quality and period character.
Presented in good condition, this is a very desirable example with a rich warm colour and attractive grain.
