Amazing Original Hungarian Victorian Antique Pine Painted Black Kitchen Island

This kitchen island is in good condition. We have professionally restored it and then waxed the top in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning appearance. We then painted the base in a black paint, rubbed over the edges and waxed it. There are two open sections that we have also waxed.

The kitchen island would look well in an old or modern property in a large unfitted kitchen for storage of kitchen items.

You need to be aware that the height of 87cm would need to fit through your doorway. Please be aware this is extremely heavy and I will require a hand off the van with it into your hallway.

The kitchen island stands on square legs supporting the main section. There are two large drawers to the bottom. The drawers have ceramic handles, dovetail joints and are pine lined.

Above are four further smaller doors with ceramic handles and two large open sections the sides. The top is in good condition being planked and waxed.

The height is 87cm, the width is 200cm and the depth is 100cm.

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
